Driving Directions to Greenville Event Center (Shrine Club)

From Asheville NC
 

 1: Hendersonville to the State Line

• From Asheville take I-26 East / US-25 South towards Hendersonville. 
• Pass the exits for Hendersonville and Flat Rock.
• Take Exit 54 to merge onto US-25 South toward Greenville. (Approximately 24 miles, as the road adopts various names)
• Stay on this highway as you descend the winding Saluda Grade.
• Cross the South Carolina state line, where the highway becomes a divided four-lane road.

 2: Through Travelers Rest

• Continue  straight on US-25 South for several miles.
• Watch for the highway to split near the top of Travelers Rest: Stay right to remain on the US-25 Bypass (do not take the Business 25 exit)
• Pass  the traffic lights at State Road 276 (Poinsett Highway) and Furman University, (which will be on your left).

3: The Cherrydale Intersection

Keep heading south as US-25 merges into US-276 South / Poinsett Highw  

• You will go approximately 4 miles as you approach the major commercial hub at Cherrydale Point Shopping  Center.
•  You will pass Lowes on your left, start moving  into the 2 left-turn lanes at the intersection of Poinsett Highway and State Park Road/ SC 291 / North Pleasantburg Drive.
• Turn left  onto North Pleasantburg Drive, keeping the shopping center on your right. 

 4: The Final Stretch to Beverly Road

• Drive roughly 1.5 miles down North Pleasantburg Drive.
• Look for the Piney Mountain Road intersection and prepare to turn left  shortly after.
• Turn left onto Rutherford Rd 
• Follow  the road up the hill (.5 miles) to a stop light and turn left onto  Beverly Rd
• Cross the Railroad tracks and up the hill, the Shrine Center will be on  the Left

From Spartanburg 

 1. Leaving Spartanburg to I-85 Business S

• Merge onto I-85BL S (I-85 Business) toward Greenville.
• Landmark: Keep an eye out for Wofford College just east of your starting path before hitting the highway. [1]

2. Transitioning to I-85 Main S

• Stay on I-85BL S for about 4.5 miles.
• Merge onto the main I-85 S corridor.
• Landmark: Right around this merge point, you will pass near the Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport to your south.
• Continue on I-85 S. You will cross over the Enoree River and pass the massive BMW Manufacturing Co. Plant on your right in Greer. 

3. Taking I-385 N into Greenville

• Take the exit for I-385 N toward Downtown Greenville.
• Landmark: This massive interchange sits right near the Haywood Mall shopping district.
• Stay on I-385 N for a short stretch. 

4. Exiting toward the Destination

• Take Exit 40A for SC-291 N/N Pleasantburg Dr.
• Landmark: You will exit right by the Greenville Downtown Airport and the TD Convention center complex.
• Merge onto N Pleasantburg Dr and stay right to follow the road northward. You will go approximately 1.5 to 2 miles.
• Turn right onto Rutherford Rd.  Follow the road up the hill

 (.5 miles) to a stop light and turn Left onto Beverly Rd.

• Go down the hill and cross the Railroad tracks the Shrine Center will be at the top of the hill on the Left.
